Philosophy: You are stronger than you think. It is scary to experience anxiety, anger, depression, trauma, conflicts with your friends, family and coworkers, or to feel alone, overwhelmed and lost. This does not mean that you are broken. You are not broken. You are fighting to survive life's challenges and find happiness again.
Therapy provides a safe, welcoming space where you can explore your heaviest feelings, heal your relationships, and tap into your natural resilience. Finding personal coping strategies allows you to thrive and conquer life's challenges.
Style: I can help you. I provide a compassionate, gentle, and nonjudgmental space where you are safe to say your hardest thoughts and biggest feelings out loud. We will work together. I will truly hear you. I am on your team. I will encourage you, empower you, and help you stay kind to yourself, even when therapy gets tough. Diving deep can hurt, but you will grow, heal and find contentment and joy when you come back up to the surface.
Specialties: Couples, individuals, families, adolescents, young adults, and LGBTQIA+ individuals using Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma-informed systemic approaches.
Experience: I support couples through marital struggles, lead small support groups for women, and offer crisis counseling to trauma survivors. My passion is helping first-time therapy seekers, working with the LGBTQIA+ community, supporting individual adults, and navigating teens and young adults through social pressures, relationships, and big life transitions.
