Victor Pittman, LMFT
Philosophy: A counselor partners with you and your family during difficult times in life. I believe true and lasting change is possible when clients work together with me on shared goals. In many years of counseling children/teens, I found many have dealt with ineffective fathering. So, I've dedicated myself to assisting men enhance their roles within their households. I am amazed to witness the powerful changes in men who better understand their own worth and impact on others. I also assist couples to better understand that many of their misunderstandings and behavioral patterns are gender specific.
Style: I bring a unique balance of professionalism, humor, empathic listening, and strategic interventions that allow my clients to feel comfortable while they examine important and sometimes upsetting issues.
Specialties: Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling
Experience: I have worked with children and teens experiencing self-destructive and underperformance behaviors for 25 years.
My Trauma-Informed Care training allows me to better inform clients as to why they struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, and complex relationships.
